Customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Cardsmith LLC., DBA The Cardsmith, from any and all claims, lawsuits, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, including monetary loss, property damage, and equitable relief, whether brought by an individual or entity, or imposed by a court or governmental body, arising from any acts, omissions, or negligence. This indemnification includes payment of fines, penalties, attorneys' fees, and related expenses. Posting negative claims, slander, or false representation on social media is strictly prohibited. If damage occurs to your card during the grading process, The Cardsmith LLC., DBA The Cardsmith, will assist in initiating a damage claim on your behalf, without admission of guilt or wrongdoing, as a courtesy service. If you opt to have your card removed from its current slab, you acknowledge the risk of potential damage, for which The Cardsmith LLC., DBA The Cardsmith, is not liable.

The Cardsmith specializes in the art of trading card evaluation, restoration, and grading preparation. We do not provide grading services or submit cards to grading companies on your behalf.
Your Role in the Process
As a valued client, we kindly ask that you:

Our Mutual Protections
In partnering with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Shared Responsibility: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Cardsmith LLC, doing business as The Cardsmith, against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of our services or any breach of these terms.

Scope of Liability: The Cardsmith's liability is limited to direct damages proven to result from our services. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Informed Consent: If you choose to have a card removed from its current holder, you recognize the inherent risks involved, for which The Cardsmith cannot be held liable.
In the Unlikely Event of Damage
Should any damage occur during the grading process, The Cardsmith will assist you in initiating a claim with the relevant parties. This assistance is offered as a courtesy and does not constitute an admission of fault.
A Covenant of Respect
We kindly request that any concerns or dissatisfaction be communicated directly to us. Public disparagement or misrepresentation of our services is not in the spirit of our partnership.
Evolving Together
We reserve the right to refine these terms as our craft evolves. Continued use of our services following any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Principles
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
